The Battlefield and Beyond: Understanding Trauma in Female Veterans

Description

While the military offers positive experiences for many women, the rate of trauma among female veterans is quite high. This unit focuses exclusively on female service members who suffer the lasting effects of trauma in the military. The issues—and strategies for service providers—are drawn out around a central case study that illustrates how trauma can impact every aspect of a woman’s life.
